Neuro-Linguistic Programming

Rapid Change Techniques

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is an approach that can support positive change by working with the connection between thoughts, language, behaviour, and emotional response. It is used in a wide range of settings, including therapy, business and sport, to help people make meaningful shifts in the way they think, feel, and respond.

Influenced by psychotherapy, conversational hypnotherapy, and an understanding of how the mind forms patterns and associations, the practice of NLP involves the use of specific techniques designed to help create desired change in a focused and practical way. Many people find it helpful for building confidence, improving focus, easing fears, and making goals feel more achievable.

NLP techniques can form the basis of stand-alone sessions or be integrated into your hypnotherapy sessions, depending on your needs and the changes you would like to make.

Examples of NLP techniques we may use include:

Pain Control

A technique which can help reduce the experience of physical discomfort.

Trauma Blow-Up

A technique used to lessen the emotional impact of distressing visual memories.

Anchoring

Using association to facilitate desired emotional states.

Fears and Phobias

A technique designed to reduce the intensity of fears or phobias, often very quickly.

Goal Setting Support

Helping your mind become more aligned with the outcomes you want, so your goals feel more natural and achievable.

NLP techniques are often experienced as rapid, practical, and effective, and sessions can be tailored to your individual goals. There are many more NLP approaches than those listed here, allowing the work to be adapted to what will be most helpful for you.

NLP can be a powerful way to support lasting, positive change and help you move forward with greater ease and confidence.

We offer a free initial consultation, in person or online, giving you the opportunity to talk about what you would like support with and to ask any questions you may have.

Session fees are £50, and are due either prior to the session or upon arrival.
